Bellevue State Park is a 328-acre reserve based off the former mansion of William DuPont, Jr. Named Bellevue Hall by DuPont himself, this site overlooks the Delaware River and is the perfect place to host gathers, parties, and weddings. You’ll find tennis courts, flower gardens, equestrian stables, a picturesque pond, bucolic woodlands, and pastoral fields. And all of it was gifted to the state of Delaware in 1976.
Not only is Deerfield a picturesque and lovely golf course, with bucolic forests, immaculate fairways, and well-manicured greens, it is also a 145 acres jaw-dropping wedding venue. Established as a shipbuilding facility during World War II, the Chase Center transitioned to a multipurpose events facility in 2005. Now a host site for many community events—from conferences and trade shows to holiday events and weddings—the 90,000-square-foot facility also features fine dining and lodging at the adjoining Westin Hotel and restaurant.

The hall accommodates up to 50 guests and is perfect for small weddings, where attendees will gain access to the historic property, a serving kitchen, the downstairs of the house, and a bride’s room upstairs.

Built between 1845 and 1847, this example of the Greek revival architecture was named by the politician for the Battle of Buena Vista that took place during the Mexican-American War.
