Tucked away in the historic seaside town of Lewes, Delaware, The Packard Reath Gallery was the first of its kind and caliber in teh region and continues to be the primary source for fine art photography in the Mid-Atlantic. One art critic described the gallery as having "the best collection of contemporary photography in the east".
Our mission is to encourage an understanding and appreciation of fine art photography by the public, individual collectors and corporate and professional groups. To this end, we feature one person shows monthly, both in our gallery space in downtown Lewes and in other locates throughout the region. From time to time the gallery artists and staff give talks on photography.
We believe that art inspires and motivates and that the addition of god art to home and work spaces makes the diference between a mediocre enironment and one that invites the spirit to soar.
Beginning in May of 2006 drop in to our new gallery space, upstairs at 109 Market Street in Lewes. We are conveniently located over Cafe Azafran, one of Lewes's dining treasures.
