In June 2002, the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame opened its 5000 square foot permanent home at Frawley Stadium, home of the Wilmington Blue Rocks, in Wilmington, Delaware.
After a concentrated fundraising effort, the Delaware Sports Museum and Hall of Fame was built (at a cost of $1.5 million dollars) as part of the expansion of Frawley Stadium. After twenty-seven years of voting members into the Delaware Hall, at last there was a place where the memorabilia, the artifacts, the uniforms and photographs could call home. The museum awaits visitors of all ages - come celebrate the best of Delaware's sports history with us!
