Mini golf is a classic pastime suitable for just about everyone. From Viking décor to pirate themes, here are the best mini golf courses in Delaware.

Jungle Jim’s, Rehoboth Beach, DE

Jungle Jim’s is a multi-tiered theme park that features mammoth waterslides, bumper-boats, go-karts, and mini-golf. Waterfalls and streams run through two jungle-themed 18-hole mini-golf courses, and many holes actually play like a miniature version of the real thing, with water hazards, bunkers, and undulating terrain. You are encouraged to take your time and plan your shots throughout these challenging courses.

Midway Speedway, Rehoboth Beach, DE

Offering three great theme parks in one. The Midway Speedway features four go-kart tracks, with one designed specifically for little drivers, and the White Water Mountain Water Park boasts “super-fast” water slides, a lazy river, and an activity pool. Finally, Fire Mountain Golf offers 18 volcanic-themed holes, where you play against a ticking clock to survive!

Vince’s Sports Center, Newark, DE

Established in 1981, Vince’s is an 18-acre, privately-owned sports and recreation complex that features batting cages, par three golf, mini golf, and an onsite arcade. Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf, Ocean City, MD

The story of Professor Hacker's Lost Treasure Golf centers around one Duffer A. Hacker, a supposed anthropologist and explorer. As the story goes, Hacker led two expeditions to the “Fogcliff Islands” of South America in the 1930s to search for lost diamond and gold mines that were part of the island’s mythology. As a golfer in his wake, you will explore caves, mountains, and waterfalls to try to find what he could not.

Viking Golf & Go-Karts at Thunder Lagoon Waterpark, Fenwick Island, DE

This three-tiered theme park offers six slides, activity pools, go-karts, and a Viking Golf course with 19 holes Norse adventure fun. The course features the story of Vikings battling a two-headed Dragon, and you will meet many trolls and other creatures as you progress. Learn about Viking mythology and figure out riddles to gain access to the mysterious 19th hole.

Shell We Golf, Rehoboth Beach, DE

Conch Shells, sea legends, palm trees, and aquatic creatures await you as you make your way through this sea shell-themed, 19-hole mini-golf course. The course is relaxing and tranquil, and you are encouraged to take your time as you learn about different kinds of seashells. Along the way, you will see “invisible” fish, jumping shells, a pond with aquatic inhabitants, and gorgeous waterfalls.

Putters Paradise, Middletown, DE

The greens at PP are new, and the course is clean, and, while it is not very long, it is challenging, with undulating elevations and blind shots. Good, patient shots are rewarded, and bad, poorly planned shots are penalized heavily. There is not a lot of water, but there are a ton of bunkers, so beware going “off course.”

River Walk Mini Golf, Wilmington, DE

This nature-themed mini-golf course features 18 holes of naturally landscaped surroundings. Mimicking the plant life found around the actual Riverwalk and the area’s rivers, the course also features Tom Burke birdhouses and local wildlife. When you have successfully navigated the 18 holes, be sure to stop into the clubhouse to sample nine flavors of ice cream, milkshakes, and more.

Delcastle Golf Course, Wilmington, DE

What better place to put a mini-golf course than beside a real one? Actually, the miniature golf course at Delcastle is nested right beside the driving range, and it has just recently been re-carpeted. Boasting naturally rolling terrain, water hazard, wildlife, and more, if you get tired during your round, just rest at the large patio just steps away, which is perfect for birthday parties or a post-round beverage.
