Hagley’s 5K Along The Brandywine

Join us for the fifth annual 5K/1K run/walk along the beautiful Brandywine River through Hagley Museum's 235 acres.  Proceeds from the run supports Hagley's field trip scholarships for area schools.  The previous events collectively raised enough money for nearly 1200 students to visit Hagley.  Thank you for providing this opportunity to so many young people!

This year's event will feature the 5K starting at 8:30am followed by the 1K Fun Run at 9:15am.  There is not an age requirement for either event.

New in 2023...join the "Blazing Blue Crew."  All participants are invited to dress in your best, craziest blue outfits or costumes!

An awards ceremony will take place for both events at 9:45am.

Corporate and community teams are encouraged.  The 5K/1K registration website have tabs to create or join a team.

Hagley Museum opens at 10am, so stay and explore the historic powder yards, first du Pont family home, and gardens.  Your registration fee gives you free admission to Hagley on the day of the 5K/1K.

Registration Fees:

Hagley's 1K Family Fun Run - Registration is $15.

Hagley's 5K along the Brandywine - Registration fee is $25 on or before April 2 and $30 after.

Use Hagley’s Buck Road entrance off Route 100 in Wilmington, Delaware.
